We Should Be So Caring...!
Here is your feel good start to your day...
I figure that we could all take lesson from Mother Nature on this, don't you agree?
When hurricane Hannah separated two white tigers from their mother,
Anjana came to the Rescue. Anjana, a chimp at TIGERS in South Carolina , became
surrogate mom and playmate to the cubs, even helping with bottle feeding,
according to The Sun. But here's the truly amazing part: This is
something Anjana does all the time, having helped raise leopard
and lion cubs on several occasions.
Sometimes I almost wish that people could be as well behaved as some animals, ya know? Guess that's just asking way too much...!
Let's get some fresh coffee and sit outside...OK, my friend?

Aww...that is too cute.
You can see the love she feels for the little tigers in her tender expression and the gentle way she holds them.
Like you said, Uncle Hermit, if only some people could be as well behaved. I will add, if only some people cared for their own children half as much as Anjana obviously cares for these two babies.
Thanks for starting my day off with a feel good moment and a fresh cup of coffee. :D
Have a great day!
Hugs~Felinae~
Hey Felinae...
Just the look in her eyes shows how much she cares! It's almost like she is smiling and showing off babies of her own...
You have to wonder why we can't follow the lead of mother nature, huh?
Thanks for coming by!
I'll just bet that ape wouldn't get in the cage with them when they're grown either.
Hey Tjbbpgobill...
You're probably right about that! I imagine that she has way too much sense to do that, even if they may remember her!
Instinct is a marvelous thing...!
Thanks so much for coming by today!
Some people DO care...I only wish more did.
I love the photos...so sweet!
Shade and Sweetwater,
K
Hey K...
I couldn't agree with you more about it being nice if more did !
It is nice that there are some that care, I hope many more than we are aware of.
Hey, you have a good day and thank you for stopping by!
Thats real nice Jim, I didnt know that those chimps could feel like that. And to think people hunt them down and treat them poorly makes me sad. I would never eat chimp after seeing this picture. I havent but just saying I know people who do.
thanks have a good week.
Hey OGT...
Sometimes the chimps show a lot more feeling than a lot of people give them credit for!
I can't imagine eating one...but like you said, some folks do!
Hey, I appreciate you dropping by today!
...from cute fuzzy fotos' reinforcing a maternal instinct,to chimps on the menu in 9 posts !...lmao
...(cont)...hate to be this way,but if i'm out huntin' for a life sustaining meal for me/mine ?...chimp "on the menu" !
...worst/extreme case of course !?!?
Hey Ken...
Just goes to show ya, you never know where the conversation may head when you visit the Hermit's house!
Hey, I appreciate the visit, my friend!
So cute it almost hurts inside :-) But I do think that she actully would be able to visit them when they get older. I saw this film of two men that once bought a lion cub in England.
It got to big after a while so they took it to South Africa, if my memorie is correct. They didn´t come back for many years, but when they did the lion recognised them and behaved like that cub they once bought :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
well cant say id be having it on my menu .... id befriend it ... and train it to gather food for me ... i wouldnt be hungry or lonely lol.
maybe a cute fantasy ... but anyway gorgeous pics Jim ... really needed that to make me smile after my kick in the pac, errr butt today.
Keep well

By the way, I checked out the tax burden in Sweden and the USA. Ours is around 48% here in Sweden, in the USA it´s around 27%. I wonder if we make the twice too :-) :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
That is so sweet. Some of the cutest photos I have ever seen.
Good Morning my Special One, that is special, Christer is right I also saw that film about the lion cub as a matter of fact it was on again the other day.
I'll have a refill of that nice fresh coffee, Please.
Hey Christer...
I remember seeing the video you are talking about. Pretty amazing, for sure!
48% tax? OUCH!! That really sucks, buddy! Sounds like a lot to me...guess we are pretty spoiled with 27% here!
Thanks for coming by, my friend!
Hey Missi...
Really good to see you this morning, my friend!
I'm glad you liked the pics...and also glad you could come by today!
Hey Rae...
Sort of reaches out and touche3s you, doesn't it? That chimp looks so happy to be holding them!
Like I said, a feel good way to start the day!
Thanks for coming by today, Rae!
Hey JoJo...
ood film, wasn't it? Pretty amazing for sure!
We are supposed to be getting some cooler weather this weekend, so maybe we'll have to go back inside for coffee again! Good snuggle weather, maybe?
Thanks for dropping by, sweetie!
Those chimps are truly an amazing and intelligent creature it seems. I think I can remember seeing a video of a tiger taking care of a baby baboon once if I can remember right(it was awhile back).....
I found it, it was a leopard I guess. Pretty interesting youtube video I thought. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gpfvkeo0KBc
Hey Hermit...
I'll bet that nature provides a lot more of these sorts of things than we will ever know about...
Ya gotta figure that if animals can act so civilized, then maybe there is hope for all of us!
Thanks for the link, my friend! I appreciate it...and I also appreciate the visit this morning!
Yes great for a snuggle :)It has been great here too. Doing a Luau on Sat around the pool.
What an amazing pair! The chimp is so loving and nurturing. Thanks for sharing.

Thing that struck me HJ, is that us humans have a whole lot of learning to do before we can't even touch the humanity of that Chimp (Capital letter by rights).
