The ever present "reminder" of the value of the youngest among us!
As we SILVER Haired Surfers know, sometimes we have trouble with our computers. Yesterday, I had a problem, so I called Georgie, the 11 year old next door, whose bedroom looks like Mission Control, and asked him to come over. Georgie clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.
As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong? He replied, ' It was an ID ten T error.'
I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, " An, ID ten T error ? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'
Georgie grinned... 'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before' ?
'No,' I replied.
'Write it down,' he said, 'and I think you'll figure it out.'
So I wrote down: ID IO T
I used to like Georgie, the little ****head.
A sign of the times, my friends! A sign of the times!
Coffee out on the patio this morning, OK?

Holy cow! Does that ever ring a bell. I have had to ask the younger generation for computer help only to find I had pressed the wrong button or forgot to press the coBaby Sis and Mr Hermit. Have a wonderful weekend. Save my spot on the swing for me.
Yeah - I'm asking 5 year old grandson Henry next time ~ he's not allowed to say ugly things to grown ups!
Big hugs and cooler weather ~
Now that is so funny but he shouldn't tell people that haha I have had to get my grandkids to bail be out too.
I used to work in a call center as a DSL tech, we joked a lot about those ID 10 T errors! But they weren't all done by older folks.
Hey Linda...
Happens to all of us from time to time, I reckon.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hey Sis...
That lesson should stay with us all, even in our later years!
Thanks for coming by today, Sis!
Hey Jo...
Like I said...happens to us all at some point.
