A Trip To The Past...!

Today I want to do something a bit different. On this video is some of the important and memorable inventions of the time, and the year they were first introduced. Boy, I'm getting old!

Remember any of these?

Coffee out on the patio this morning.

Wow! Amazing. And to think we just take them all for granted today. As for getting old, I'm right there with you, HJ.

I was surprised at how long ago some of these were invented.

Hey Momlady...
We tend to take things for granted, I think.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hey Mamahen...
In some cases, it is surprising.
Thanks for coming over today!

1955 the first microwave oven! Let's see then found the crashed flying saucer in Roswell NM in '47, so it took 8 years to get that technology to market... :-)

Hey Rob...
I wonder why the delay? Maybe a marketing decision. Did you notice the cost? WOW!
Thanks for the visit today!

The first one that threw me was the remote TV we didn't even have a TV until then and it was this little bitty thing some one gave to my dad because it didn't work. Yep he made it work. And yes surely getting old here. Loved the music.

See you on the Patio

Well, I'm a 1958 issue myself, so I remember most of these. There were still some of the original snowmobiles around in use when I was kid and I rode on one. Now they are all museum pieces -much like me I guess. :)

Yep, I was just a child when I remember my parents getting our first TV. I am 76 now, so that was a long time ago.
