Now, he hates dogs, lol. I kept calling and complaining long enough they finally did something about the big dogs here, running loose. My bro G shot one once, after it had killed 3 of his goats. Caught in the act. He said the best thing was, it made it home and died in the yard. He had already warned the owner. Then, u get one like my sis has,,love that one. lolTROUBLEnTXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15101519457688182222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2474304103076898115.post-16365124073460276382011-08-04T10:23:47.307-05:002011-08-04T10:23:47.307-05:00Hey Stephanie...

There was a bad problem with droppings so the idea was proposed that owners would have to get a permit to have pets, would be limited in the number allowed and said pets would have to be neutered. If you didn't have a permit there would be a huge fine. That was voted down at the final vote due to public displeasure. It's just a matter of time though. Every time a child abuse case makes national news someone proposes people needs classes and a piece of paper (not marriage) to have children. Every time it is proposed there are more people who think it is a good idea. So if folks can gradually accept the idea of a permit for parents why not a permit for dog ownership?Stephanie in ARhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05117946992633230458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2474304103076898115.post-38499893992507044462011-08-04T09:26:12.376-05:002011-08-04T09:26:12.376-05:00Hey Christer...

Guess that it just goes to show that the world is as crazy in other places as in the states!

At least you live in a more rural area there in Sweden, so most of the laws like these won't affect you, right?

You have a great day, my friend, and thanks for coming by today!

Hey Gorges...
Sometimes it does seem like those types pass most of the laws, doesn't it?

Trying to stay abreast of all this crazy stuff will make you tired mentally! At least it does me!

Thanks for the visit today!

Hey Spud...
Most of the laws seem to be for the majority anymore.

Seems strange to me that the laws deemed important enough always seem to be enforced, while a lot of others are ignored by the PTB! In the city of Edinburg Texas, it was announced early last month that residents will be asked to 'contribute' a $50 annual fee for keeping a pet dog. This is supposed to be for helping offset the cost of animal control department needs, which claim they pick up 400 animals per month.

No details on how they intend to enforce this if they animals are kept indoors.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2474304103076898115.post-71181548832634031662011-08-04T03:29:03.943-05:002011-08-04T03:29:03.943-05:00The rights of the many, get taken away because of ...The rights of the many, get taken away because of abuses of the few. The state of Denmark has forbidden thirteen different breeds in the country (since criminals like to have them and use them as fighting dogs). Those that have any of them must neuter their dogs or kill them.

Also in some housing associations in Denmark they are now forbidding people to have even more dog breeds or they have to move. I think they added around 40 more breeds, some of them doesn´t make sense at all like the english bulldog that probably is the kindest breed there is!

Thankfully it´s not happening here in Sweden, it is not the dogs fault bad things happens it is the owners fault! Dog license is something that most people are prepared to have over here too but I doubt that would help much to be honest.

One of my dogs is a pitbull (got her from a rescue centre) and if You know how to handle a dog like that they are not worse than any other breed, but she does have a bloody temper to be honest :-) :-) :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
