Yesterdays blog was so delightful. I told Leah not to buy the girls any toys for Christmas as they happen to have a few. They will be more interested in the boxes and paper anyway. Some of my last years spent in public education we had a large cardboard box in the room that the kids loved. We also had an old cast iron bathtub on clawed feet that was filled with throw pillows and comforters and the kids were rewarded at days end with time in the box or tub...it sure made for good behavior sometimes!
