I know, I know...it's supposed to be "cute as a speckled pup", but I think you'll have to admit that this is even better than that!
Many of you have already seen this, I reckon, but some things are worth repeating! This story is one of those things...
The Dachshund & Pink the Pig
This Dachshund is fostering this little guy for another mom who couldn't take care of him. He had his eyes closed, but now they are open. He is just a little bigger than her other pups.
She loves this little guy as much as the other puppies, and she is nursing him back to health.
He is the cleanest "pig-uppy" ever because she licks him all the time.
HIS NAME IS PINK....
Mother Nature is a wonderful thing, isn't She? It's a shame that we "higher life forms" can't follow nature's lead sometimes, don't you think?
But, as we all know, nature will continue to do her thing...and man will continue to be the way he is. It's a shame, but that's the way of things!
So, my friends, let's get some fresh coffee and sit outside before the rain starts. We can toast to Mother Nature!

ReplyDeleteNow that is heart warming. Gotta love the animal world. Had a dog that stole a mother cats litter. Kept hearing these little meows and found the kittens hidden in the back of a closet. Found the mama and gave them back, She moved them to safer ground. :)
Pass the pot please looks like we are in for a warm one today. One day hot, one day cool. Crazy weather time here.
Watched a TV show the other day on the intelligence of animals. Two of the animals featured where dogs and pigs. Very interesting and suspicions confirmed.
