Fun Music Saturday...!

I don't know if any of you can remember these little ditties or not, but I have some fond memories of them. So let's see if you have some fun thoughts pop up with these...OK?

And just one more...

Now I have to admit, that last one was mainly for me! I have always loved that song.

Coffee in the kitchen this morning. Gotta beat the rain, ya know?

  1. My wife and I watch reruns of "Rawhide" on Saturday afternoons and every time that I see Pete played by Sheb Wooley I have trouble imagining him singing "Flying Purple People Eater".....

  2. Thanks, Bubba. I enjoyed these very much. I had forgotten about the yodeling cowboy...love it. Remember how Roy used to yodel around the house? My first assignment in drama class under Mr. Thompson was musical pantomime. I did Flying Purple People Eater. One of the Palombo brothers (Richard, I think) was my people eater. Ah, the good old days. Bet you wish you still had all of those records you used to have. Seemed like you had thousands.Have a great day. Love you.

  4. Hey Taminator013...
That's the way it is with so many singers turned actors. Look at Gomer Pyle.
    Thanks for stopping by today!

    Hey B...
It would be nice to have some of the older records back.
    Thanks for coming over today!

    Hey Momlady...
They kinda stay stuck in the mind, don't they?
    Thanks for the visit today!

  6. Great memories, Bubba. I'm sure I've mentioned my red-headed Irish friend Kevin who told himself to yodel by listening to records. Must have used this one, as he went all the way to Bavaria to the World Championship of Yodeling!
    Thanks for the listen!
