Old Folks With Wheels...!
Yesterday, our friend Dizzy Dick showed us a few pictures of his new motor home.
If you missed it, you can see it over at his Blog! and I have to admit, it is one good looking piece of hardware!
Seeing his new one made me want to look around for something like that for myself! After browsing around, I think I've found the perfect camper for me!
Not quite as big as Dizzy's, but then I don't have three dogs and a wife. That means I don't need much room! For a single person like me, this might be just the thing!
Now, I need to bring you a medical alert that I just heard about! You might be affected and then, you might not...but either way, I felt it important to bring you this warning! I did not know this...
When you drink vodka over ice, it can give you kidney failure.
When you drink rum over ice, it can give you liver failure.
When you drink whiskey over ice, it can give you heart problems.
When you drink gin over ice, it can give you brain problems.
Apparently, ice is really bad for you.
Warn all your friends !
Whew! I feel much better now that I've got the warning out to all my friends!
How about we get some fresh coffee and sit outside this morning? Should be a nice day until the cold and nasty front comes in!
Thanks for the warning about the ice, I had no idea it was hazardous to our health. I emptied the ice maker out immediately; I figured that I'd better stop using it. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend,
Hugs~Felinae~
Thank God I don't use especially much ice :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteThat camper might be small but oh so easy to clean :-) :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
Where are you going to put kitty??
ReplyDeleteI might need to modify your camper with a handicapped ramp if I were to visit.
ReplyDeleteThat was funny. Who knew ice could be so bad? Love that camper/scooter. I could use one of those. Fits in with my blog post today.
ReplyDeleteNow put a good solar panel on that rig and you've got something.
ReplyDeleteAlways knew ice was a danger. I had to drink my drink fast, or that darn ice would melt and dilute the booze.
Sure glad I live in Texas , cause we ain't got no Glaciers here. Feel sorry for those poor people in Alaska :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest camper ever. :) I can pull you behind me.
ReplyDeleteYou are still having nice weather so I will be over shortly for that cup of coffee. We are in the throws of winter right now its pretty darn cold.
Hey Felinae...
ReplyDeleteYou gotta watch out for all that bad ice, that's for sure!
Thanks so much for dropping by today, my friend!
Hey Christer...
That's what I'm thinking! However, might get a bit crowded with the dogs and your cat!
At least, the animals sleeping on you would keep you warm!
Thanks for coming over today!
Hey MallardHen...
Ol' C.B. would probably think the camper was all for him! Either that, or he would want to drive the scooter!
I sure appreciate the visit today!
Hey Gorges...
I'm sure we could figure something out! Maybe an elevator!
Thanks for the visit today!
Hey Sixbears...
It does just scream out for a solar panel, doesn't it?
Be sure and watch the intake on that ice! Dangerous stuff!
Thanks for dropping in today!
Hey Ben...
I'm certainly with ya on those glaciers!
I saw where gasoline in Nome is going up to $9 a gallon! OUCH!
Thanks, buddy, for coming over today!
Hey JoJo...
That's a great idea! You could pull me and we could have our own parade!
Fred would like it, I'll bet!
Thanks, sweetie, for coming over today!
That's a neat rig! And good to know about the ice. Glad it only surrounds my beer bottles instead of being in the beer. Who knows what ailment that would cause!
ReplyDeletePeople who live in Alaska get oil money each year did you know that? Native Americans are paid handsomely and do get land & help to build their homes, depends upon the tribe how money is distributed but it is too cold for me up there..even if the glaciers are melting now..Ice, I melt it to make pie crusts, now all that hard liquor is another story indeed!!!!!!! Love the picture of the trailer, big enough for the hubs and me now for our 4 cats they would be s--t out of luck indeed...Happy Holidays, Merry christmas, happy Hanukkah, peaceful healthy New Year indeedy..
ReplyDeleteI saw one of these set up s a while back but a over sized golf cart was pulling the camper around. It was great.
