2 Ingredient Biscuits For Thursday...!

I know this sounds ridiculous, but not only are these the easiest biscuits I've ever made...but the taste id outstanding! Tasty and easy really go together, ya know?

I made these biscuits last night and was very pleased with how they turned out. Mom liked them as well, so that's a good thing.

One thing I might mention. It calls for self rising flour, and I found out that using any other kind just won't get the job done. Same with buttermilk. Be sure to use whipping cream and self rising flour for the best results! Trus me on this one!

Coffee out on the patio this morning. Biscuits and honey sound OK?

  1. Hi I think I may give this a go. Our supermarkets in UK are now stocking buttermilk, finally.
I'm planning on making the coffee icecream I mentioned a blog back this weekend too. I had southern biscuits in North Carolina a few years back. They are a bit like scones in England.

  2. Wow, is that ever easy. Will have to give it a try. Save me a seat on the swing and pass the biscuits and honey please.

  4. Bubba - This looks like the easiest ever, and I'm dying to try it!
To Anna - this recipe calls for heavy cream, what we call whipping cream, NOT buttermilk. Although I'm glad to hear you can now get buttermilk, too.
Now all that video needs is some smell-o-vision ...
    Big hugs -

    Hey Linda M...
Doesn't get much easier, does it?

Thanks for the visit this morning!

    Hey Phyllis...
You are quite welcome. I hope you like them.

    Thanks for the visit today!

    Hey Sis...
Be sure to knead the dough a bit before cutting them out. Gotta break up that gluten. They won't rise as well if you don't knead it some.

    Thanks for stopping in today!

    Hey Mamahen...
They are good with some gravy or honey.

    Thanks for coming over today!
