Looking Forward To Planting Stuff...!

I know it may seem impossible, but Spring is just around the corner!. REALLY!

Like many others, I am planning what I want to plant. With the weather holding in a good pre-Spring warming with lots of rain falling, I'm thinking that I should be able to grow just about anything. The reason I say "just about", is because the cats seem to be willing to offer themselves up for the cause! I'm just not sure if they are practicing here, or just napping!

Ol' "Buddy" does look pretty comfortable, doesn't he?

I'm thinking that "Kitty" definitely has the right idea! She, too, looks fairly comfortable, wouldn't you say?

For some reason, Buddy likes to climb around in the rose bushes! I'm thinking maybe he is using them for a back scratcher! As long as he's happy...that's OK by me!

Guess we will figure what else to plant, if I can keep the kitties from eating the seeds! They like to sleep in the garden and that could be a problem later!

Better have coffee inside this morning, as there is another rain storm on the way!

Cats are amazing and humerous creatures, aren't they? We just bought our Lightning a plush fleece lined bed, and he prefers to scoot under the dresser or in my closet for his naps. Of course, his favorite place is in my lap, but not while grandson Henry is around! You got some good pics of the guys! Hope you're feeling better today ~

  2. Your cats seem to have found a good place to take a nap. That could be a problem when something is finally planted in their "bed". Those are some great pictures of your cats. I love seeing the "green"; all I see around here is white. Will have to have coffee inside - 13 degrees outside with a winter storm on it's way. I'm not too happy about that.

  3. I see these sellers aren't even bothering to tell you what a great writer you and then have the never to publish twice.
Of course you are a great writer we all know that!
Great Kittie photos. Yep I think you are going to have a problem using their beds.
We had lots of snow yesterday it made for great pics but thats all I wanted it for. Coffee indoors sounds fine to me.

  5. Hey Sis...
Cats do have a way of finding their own "secret spots" that they think makes them invisible!

For some reason, mine seem to like the rain!

Thanks for dropping by this morning!

    Hey Linda...
Guess I'll have to plant them some catnip again! I did that once, and they sure did like rolling around in the stuff.

Don't know if I'll be able to keep them out of the pots, but I hope so!

I really appreciate the visit this morning!

    Hey Jo...
These spammers are getting out of control! I've had more trouble with them this year than ever before!

Guess I'm going to have to take some firm measures!

I never saw a cat that will climb around inside a rose bush before, but Buddy sure does!

Thanks, sweetie, for dropping by today!

    Hey JMD...
Thanks from Buddy for the nice comments about his looks! I think he knows it already!

It's been in the 70s nearly every day this week! Starts off cool, then warms up pretty nicely.Sorry to hear about your snow!

Thanks so much for coming over today!

  6. I used to be owned by three cats, two sisters and a male. I leaned real quick that each had their own personalities and that I was working for them.

  7. Perhaps you could plant a Cat-nip bed/pot just for them..
off to the side or corner? or the middle of everything >'.'<

That way they can be central to keeping the critter population out of your goodies.

Our 2 Tomaters are loving the cool sunny weather here in the desert.
Gotta watch for freeze warnings yet.

  8. Hey Dizzy...
They do have a way of taking over things to get them just as they want! Mine can be pretty pushy when they want, but are good at faking being sweet!

Thanks, buddy, for coming by this morning!

    Hey Kare...
I'm sure going to plant them some far enough away from the other plants to keep them from messing things up!

They sure like the garden area, even when it's empty!

    Thanks for the visit today!

  9. We have to consider what to plant so we can order seeds. But it will be May 1st before I put a seed in the ground here. The February warm spell is ending, and it is cold again....we will doubtless have frosts in March.

By April I must have the new garden boxes with covers up and warming neath plastic...

  10. Hey Syrbal...
I can't imagine having that long to plant! I already have bell pepper growing, but it's from a plant that Wintered over!

I'll be planting more plants next week! Gotta love the Texas weather! (most of the time)

Better get into those seed catalogs! Thanks for coming over today!

  11. Yeah, the boxes arrived...waiting to be built and covered; garden tillage must happen first to loosen the soaked soil so I can laboriously shovel it into the boxes.

Yes, spring workouts here do not need weights or aerobic machines.
