How About Some Popcorn And Coffee...?

Years ago, back in the dark ages when I was a lot younger, we had songs that needed no words to make them sound great!

No fancy titles were needed, either! So often the one word title said it all.

Many of the old timers will remember these songs, and actually they still sound pretty good for their age! Sorta like us, I guess!

Just something a little silly for a Tuesday! After all, can't be all serious all the time! Besides, I'm old and need all the smiles I can get!

Fresah coffee on the patio this morning. Pass the popcorn, please!

Times were a bit simpler then.

Much simpler of sure , But the music I remembered was the same tune, different version. Used in the MaxwellHouse commerical

The Maxwell House commercial

Since they developed the new type coffee makers I wonder how we ever drank that boiled coffee.

Those were great. I still have the Farberware coffee maker. I can't remember where I found it. May have been cleaning out my dad's house or my aunts place to get them on the market years ago. It works great and comes in handy when some guest only drink decafe.

Coffee out on the patio sounds good.

Very enjoyable listening and those tunes will be in my head all day, now.

Hey Gorges...
That they were, my friend! That they were!

Many thanks for coming over today!

Hey Ben...
I guess it's all in what you get used to! My Mom still uses her old percolator and likes it better than the drip kind I use!

But then, she likes decaffinated as well!

No accounting for taste, I guess. Thanks, buddy, for dropping by today!

Hey JoJo...
I think that some of the older pots will last forever!

Who know...that pot may be worth a lot of money some day!

Thanks, sweetie, for coming by today!

Hey Sfwalk...
That's what we are here for...to make you smile!

I really do appreciate you coming over this morning!

Hey Dizzy...
Don't ya just hate it when that happens? Nothing more aggravating than to have a jingle stuck in your head all day!

Thanks, my friend, for the visit this morning.
