Do you remember Red Skelton ?
This is a routine that he did about the Pledge Of Allegiance that bears repeating! He puts it in such a way that ALL can understand it! Please pay attention...
My friends, if you are not moved in some way by this, if you cannot understand the Pledge after listening, if you don't get just a little choked up when hearing these words...then I am sorry for you.
I will never forget this Pledge nor will I forget the original intent of the words. I will treat it as a blood oath and, by GOD, will defend the right of all Americans to say this Pledge...in schools, in church, in meeting halls, or on the street corner at any time!
Now, let's get a fresh cup of coffee, my friends.

Hey Bullseye...Red was one of the most patriotic men in show biz...at least he seemed like it.
These times we need to all be unafraid to stand up and declare publicially just where we stand and who we stand beside!

I recall the first time I watched Red on t.v.. This is not what people think of as his typical skit but very touching. When I visited his museum/ gallery in Honolulu it was an eye-opener.
