I don't know how many times in the past these bozos have done this, but looks like they won't do it anymore!
I think these clowns will slowly get the message, and if they don't...the body count will continue to climb!

Thieves shot while stealing guns
Thieves shot while stealing guns
One burglar was killed, another injured while trying to burglarize a home just outside of Ennis TX.
Ellis County officials said the homeowner's father was alerted to two strange men at his son's house.
When the father arrived at his son’s home, the father discovered the burglars in the living room with a pile of guns and other items they had collected.
Authorities said the father shot and killed a 26-year-old from Dallas. His 19-year-old partner was critically injured.
Did the burglars get the message? These two did, but it was a little late! If this happens often enough, maybe the bad guys will change their ways...or at least move to another state!
Good practice for the coming zombie attack, I reckon!
Coffee on the patio this morning again! Want to help me reload?

As screwed up as things are these days, I hope they don't make trouble for the father. MY opinion is he did the right thing, but you know how screwed up things are these days. It wasn't HIS home so I'm not sure the Castle Law would shield him and it doesn't sound like he was IN the home when the burglars broke in so I'm not sure a 'self defense' argument wouldn't be compromised.
It's a shame. In my opinion if the law WERE absolutely on his side, burglars might think twice.
Burglary is up all over. Expect to hear more stories like this.
Reminds me of a little sign I saw in a shop window in Granger, Texas. It was a wooden cut out of the shape of the great state with a gun hanging over it ( gun also wooden). Above all was a sign that read "We don't call 911" (or something like that...my mind? went blank). Imagine that!
Good for him. Sorry he only gave the one what he deserved.
Great story. BTW, Texas is no longer ruled by the Castle Law. In fact, if you feel threatened, you have the right to use deadly force. You can shoot them in the yard now, you don't have to drag him back in the house. The laws are even looser if the perp has waited until the sun goes down. So, praise the Lord and pass the ammunition. This fellow was 100% within his rights. I love Texas! (Oh yeah, I do have my CHL)
sad but these kids aren't arent getting smarter and no matter how many die they will never get the message. Since most don't learn anything at home or they are just plain stupid.
Lets have some coffee and be happy.
Hey HB...
There comes a time, like in this case, where you just have to do what's called for and hope for the best!
I don't think that any Texas jury would convict him of wrong-doing!
Hey, thanks for coming by today!
Hey Sixbears...
Guess that it's just another sign of the times!
Thanks, my friend, for dropping in!
Hey Sis...
I know that the general population is totally fed up with all the break-ins.
Here in Houston, at least once a week someone is shot trying to break in! The LEOs here are, for the most part, allowing it! Home defense!
Thanks, Sis, for coming by!
Hey Ben...
They had it coming, without a doubt! Hope the message gets out loud and clear!
Thanks, buddy, for coming over today!
Hey Michael...
I need to do a post on the castle law! Many folks may not know just what their rights are any more!
Thanks for dropping by and for the information!
Hey JoJo...
I'm thinking stupid just about says it all! Some folks just never seem to learn!
Thanks, sweetie, for your company this morning!
This sad commentary on the way we live now.
The coin of the relm has become god to some and they will do anything to get it risking life and limb, yours or their.
I bet the 26yr old talked the 19 yr old in to it.
I lay the blame squarely on those boys not on the man who shot them.
Remember this dead people learn nothing and others who do this type of crime will say this wont happen to me.
I doubt seriously that it will change the way any others like them think. You're looking at people that probably aren't capable of learning a lesson. At least the older one has probably been to prison a number of time and was still up to his old tricks until the end. The younger of the two probably has a juvie record a mile long and unfortunately if he doesn't die he will keep it up when he gets out of prison.
Being in prison that just gives them one more reason for other inmates of their type to look up to them. Sort of an added feather in their cap as far as their crime resume goes.
I´m afraid they don´t get the message. I guess they make to much profit from steeling that they are willing to risk their lives!
Have a great day!
Christer.
Hey Michael...
I'm afraid you're right about the lessons not learned. At least these two have been removed from the list of offenders for now!
Thanks for coming by today!
Hey tffnguy...
Guess that's pretty much the way it is going to stay!
I see where California is having to release 35,000 to 42,000 prisoners back to the streets because of overcrowding!
Wonder why the crime rate doesn't drop? Hmmm...!
Thanks for coming by today!
Hey Christer...
Gotta get some money for drugs from somewhere, I guess! Too bad they can't get a real job!
Thanks, buddy, for dropping in today!
