Everything But The Kitchen Sink...!

I guess the heat is making us all a little crazy!

I can't think of any other reason this poor soul would go this far! I kinda feel sorry for him, but you have to admit that he was at least trying something different by not using a gun, right?

Man Accused Of Throwing Toilet At State Trooper Gets Trial

Man Used Toilet, Whiskey, Stick To Threaten State Trooper, Police Say

BESSEMER, Pa. -- A Bessemer man was charged after police said he armed himself with a toilet, bottle of whiskey and a stick to stop a state trooper.

Police said Steven Herman was arrested after neighbors called to complain that he was being loud and tossing objects into his driveway. A judge waived all charges to court during a hearing on Thursday.

When officers arrived, they found Herman inside the attic of his Lawrence County home. Police said he tried to drop a 100 pound toilet on a trooper and then threatened the officer with a whiskey bottle and stick.

Police said they had to shock Herman with a Taser to subdue him. Aftwards he was taken into custody.

Herman's sister said she hopes that he can get help.

"I'm glad no one got hurt. He's hopefully going to get help out of this," Herman's sister said. "He's not a violent person. He was under the influence. I just want him to get help."

Herman is in the Lawrence County Jail on $10,000 bond. He is facing aggravated assault and terroristic threats charges.

I'm not sure if this was a case of too much whiskey, not enough brains, or a combination of both! He does get my vote for originality, though.

Let's get some coffee and sit out at the patio for a bit!

My parents got ahold of an old toilet one time and put it on one of their friends rooftop with a spotlight on it. Well the man knew who did it(they were always pulling pranks on each other) so he got it down and decided to put it in our front yard. Dad got wind of this and grabbed it as soon as the guy left and raced back over and had it set back up at their house before the friend got home. It sure is amazing the extra curricular activity a toilet gets.

Hey Sel...
I guess I just never considered using an old john as a weapon before!

Sounds like your folks and their friends were recycling the fun way!

I appreciate you coming by today!

Maybe he could claim that he was just trying to invite the cop in and was just offering him a seat and a drink.

Yes it sure was original :-) :-) Heat and alcohol can make people do the stupidest things. And it surly doesn´t help to have not enough brain :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

Talk about some positive thinking, Bob from Athens tops the list for today in my book...liked his answer. I had some stuff from a toilet thrown at me when I worked in the jail but never the toilet itself!! Thank goodness for steel and unbreakable glass doors.
Refill, please.
Love you.

Hey Bob...
Makes sense to me! I'd say that was a good argument or at least worth trying!

Thanks for the visit today!

Hey Christer...
Yep, heat and alcohol is never a good mixture!

This time of year, more folks than usual seem to go a little nuts!

Hey, thanks for the visit, my friend!

Hey Sis...
Some folks just have to act out, for sure!

Can't imagine why anyone would want to throw the contents of a toilet, but guess that some folks are just plain crazy!

I really appreciate you coming by today!

Sorry your not getting any rain or cooler temps. I think you should pack a bag and one for mom and take a ride up here. I will have the pot on for you both. And if mom would like tea I have that too.

Hey JoJo...
I think that any act or threat made towards a LEO now days is considered a terroristic threat.

I appreciate the offer, and if it doesn't rain pretty soon...we may have to do something!

To top it off, outside main feed water lines busted at Mom's a couple of days ago, and we finally got that fixed yesterday!

You have a great day, sweetie, and thanks for coming by today!

Hey Trouble...
I certainly have to wonder what the heck this guy had a loose toilet in his attic for? Was he planning to put in a "john" up there?

Like you say, the cop really picked a bad time!

Thanks for coming by today!

Hey Mike...
Takes on a whole new context when the weapon involved is a toilet, doesn't it?

Hey, I really appreciate you coming by today!
