Sunday Funnies...!

I know that the passing of Ben yesterday was a shock to us all, but I believe that Ben would have wanted us to continue doing what we do.

So in keeping with that thought, Sunday's cartoons are back again! Hope you enjoy them!

Here is another really old one!

That's all for this morning. Coffee on the patio again. I have some snicker-doodles to share!

Yes, Ben's passing is sad. I enjoyed his blogs. But, you are right, he would want everyone to continue on. So thank you for the cartoons. My condolences to Ben's family.

Good heavens. That's two so close to each other - Unk and now Ben. So sad.
Coffee and some chat sounds fine this morning.

I enjoyed Ben's wit and wisdom.
It was his turn to die.
I will die, too. So be it.
If noone died we'd all be up to our asses in old people.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words about Ben! I think he would get a real bang hearing from all his friends!

Life is certainly full of surprises, some good and some not so good. All we can do is to roll with the punches and ask the heaven's above for strength to carry on!

Have a great day!

"Ben's daughter Autumn is hosting a reception in Ben's honor on Tuesday, June 26 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Steven's Garden and Grill at 223 Depot Street in Mansfield, TX www.stevensgardenandgrill.com/ location."

Anyone going to it, through or near Houston, please email me at rsvpta at aol. Maybe we can get the poor orphans here, if they haven’t found a home in the next couple of days.

I don't think Ben would want them to be put to sleep and I haven't heard back from the No-Kill Shelters in the Mansfield area yet.

Let's make sure Ben's 'carpet sharks' have a Happy Ending.
