Some Helpful Tips For Husbands...!
I found that most men can do their own laundry, and for the most part can do just fine!
However, there are some cases where the wife has to teach the husband the proper way! I don't know if this is because the husband really doesn't know, or if he is merely trying to get someone else to do the laundry!
Having been married before, more than once, I know that many women seem to think that men are not too bright. Believe me, I have experienced this first hand! Other than get into a long argument with the wife over this issue, it may be a lot of easier to let them think that they are right! It all depends on the individual, ya know?
Anyway, I found this handy guide called "Husband's Guide To Doing Laundry", obviously written by a wife! I thought I would put it up here just as an example of what I mean!
1. First, locate your laundry. It can usually be found in the hamper -- that's a container designed to hold dirty clothing. Depending on the household's preferences, a hamper is placed in a bedroom, in a bathroom or in the laundry room itself.
2. The laundry room is the little room next to the garage. It's the one with the washer and the dryer in it.
3. The washer is the one where you put the dirty clothes and detergent. The dryer is the one where you put the clothes after they are washed.
4. Yes, the dryer is the one where you can watch the clothes go round and round.
5. Yes, the dryer is the one that makes your clothes come out all hot.
6. Dirty clothes are not hot.
7. No, I will not just skip this whole laundry hassle by going out and buying you more underwear.
8. No, you may not attend the PTA dinner without any underwear on.
9. Yes, you are going to the PTA dinner.
10. Actually, I know for a fact that the PTA president's husband does his own laundry. In fact, he does the whole family's laundry.
11. No, you may not ask the PTA president's husband to do your laundry.
12. No, you may not ask the PTA president to do your laundry.
13. In fact, just stay away from the PTA president. If I even catch you looking at that little hussy, I will stuff you into the hamper.
14. Our hamper, by the way, is in the laundry room. The one with the washer and the dryer in it. Where you will be sleeping for the rest of the week.
Hopefully you folks realize understand that this is all in fun! I am not trying to poke fun at anyone here, and this list is only meant to entertain! However, if you do have a problem with the proper way to do laundry...then maybe this list can be of some use for you!
You don't even need to be married to use it!
Now, my friends, let's get some fresh coffee and sit on the patio for a bit! We can discuss the mystery of the disappearing socks on laundry day!

That made me laugh ... many "several" times :)
I must have a gifted husband. ;-)
I guess I was one of the "lucky" ones cause my momma taught all of us boys early on how to do all that stuff. AND how to iron !!
She also taught us (me) how to cook. But it wasn't till much later I figured out she was much of a cook!!!
When dealing with my lovely wife, long ago I learned I can be "right" or I can be happy.
I do the laundry her way.
I ain't above going 'Commando' when I've been lazy doing laundry - just gotta be more careful when operating that zipper, lol.
Luckily, Grenville is well versed in the operation of the washer and dryer, having been in the Navy taught him well in many things :-) Your all-in-fun post may really hit home for some folks not as lucky!

Hey MC...
Glad you enjoyed it, my friend! Just a little humor on this Monday!
Thanks for coming by today!
Hey Calandreya...
There are some "gifted" husbands out there, without a doubt!
Of course, this was all in fun!
Thanks for coming by today!
Hey Ben...
I was one of those that learned to wash, iron, and cook at a young age! Matter of survival in my family, I think!
Served me well through-out my life so far!
Good of you to drop by today, buddy!
Hey Sixbears...
Probably a very good idea! Doing it her way can certainly make things easier!
I appreciate you coming by today!
Hey Anon 7:58...
Much easier to just do it the way "she" wants it done!
Yes, do be careful with that zipper!
Thanks for dropping in today!
Hey Beatrice...
Being in the service is very good training in a lot of life skills! Learned a lot of useful stuff while in the Air Force!
Of course, growing up with 3 sisters in the house helped a lot as well!
Some lessons are not forgotten soon!
Thanks for coming by today!
I believe all males should know how to wash and (yes)iron their own clothes. Cooking is a good skill to have, also. These are almost lost arts among everyone these days. But I bet you know how, Jim.
Good Morning My Special One,
That was funny gave me a chuckle. My son washes and irons and is a great cook too. I am now teaching my grandsons the art too. :)
Hey Momlady...
Having grown up in the time before permanent press (gasp!) I learned to iron!
Also, that's another thing that military life can teach, although most of us took the uniforms to the laundry!
And yes, I did learn how to do all those things pretty early!
Thanks for the visit today!
Hey JoJo...
Good lesson to teach the young men, 'cause they may someday be around a woman that doesn't do these jobs!
That's why I'm glad I learned to cook when young...wife #3 didn't do it often! Or was that # 4?
Thanks so much, sweetie, for coming by today!
I taught my sons early on to do the laundry - all housework for that matter. My ex objected, calling it "woman's work" (which is part of the reason he is now my ex) but I explained that someday they would make some lucky woman very happy - them coming with 'skills' and all.
Now my son is with a woman who doesn't do laundry, doesn't cook and doesn't know where the vacuum is kept. (I love her dearly anyway, because she sure can outwork a man when it's outdoors!!!)
So see? those laundry skills DO come in handy - as well knowing how to wield a duster and toilet bowl brush! lol!
In my husband's case the laundry would be in a pile on the floor right where he took it off.
You might check out this video "The Man Song" - goes with the post quite nicely.

I do all the laundry for my wife and me but we trade services if you know what I mean. Thanks for the great lesson.
Brilliant, nothing short of brilliant.

Hey Katie...
Just goes to show that sometimes momma does know best!
I'll bet he's glad now that you taught him the skills needed to get along in a proper fashion!
Thanks, my friend, for dropping by today!
Hey Stephanie...
I know that hubby is extremely glad to have you around! Other than the fact that you're such a good cook!
Thanks, girl, for coming over today!
Hey Mechanic...
Nothing wrong with the exchanging of services! Keeps things around the homestead interesting!
Thanks, buddy, for coming by today!
Hey AV...
I'm glad you liked them, my friend! Sometimes we just need a little humor in our lives!
Thanks for the visit today!
I do my own personal laundry. That way I know what is clean and what is not.
I have a small problem with number one, see my ex use to leave his laundry all over the floor. He did not know what a hamper was.
We divorced shortly after I told him to do his own laundry and that I would NO longer be doing it.
:)
I laughed, I showed it to the girl friend, she laughed, her sister laughed.
The only one that didn't laugh was her nephiew, the boy is only fifteen and has much to learn I see.
I married a man who loves doing laundry, because he discovered that with an automatic washer and dryer, instead of a clothes line like his mother's, the stuff just got clean! So I don't need this list, happily. But the PTA president is still off limits!
