Pay Attention To The Voices Of The Past...!!

I want you to read and then reread these quotes...believe me, it's important!

He who has a strong enough why can bear almost any how.
Friedrich Nietzsche

Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.
Benjamin Franklin

Now, do you understand what these men were talking about? Do you think that they were only speaking about their times, and should be ignored because of when these statements were made? Well, you better read them again, my friends!

The statements made by both these gentlemen, and indeed many more of our forefathers, are as true today as they ever were. In fact, I would venture to say that in some aspects these statements are more in keeping with the happenings of our current situation than they ever were.

If you have a strong enough why, you will find the how is very bearable indeed. That's my belief. That's what causes the some of us to continue to follow the paths that we see as the best for us. That's why we tell anyone and everyone that will listen to prepare, to ready themselves and their family, to ignore those voices that ridicule and make light of our efforts, to keep our own council and the council of those that are walking the walk and not just talking the talk!

Doing what others tell us is the right thing to do is very often easy...doing what we know is the right thing to do often is NOT easy. But just because it's not easy doesn't make it any the less right.

Likewise, do NOT be fooled into giving up your freedom, any of your freedom, just for the sake of what passes as security. The type of security is false and short termed at best! Freedom is NEVER free...never has been, never will be!

Time to wake up and smell the coffee, my friends. And speaking of coffee, why don't we share a fresh cup?

Truer words ...I will rearead and take you up on the coffee. I am almost out, which is about the only reason that I would even venture going into a store on Black Friday.
Jim seemed to have a very enjoyable Thanksgiving. I hope you did. I hear you might have been able to save some important stuff that could have been in danger of floating forever in cyberspace limbo. I hope all is well.
Love you lots.

Hey Sis...thanks for stopping by. Better you than me as far as going out, although I would rather go to the grocery store than the box stores.

You have a good day...love ya!
