Feeling My Age...!

For some reason, I'm feeling a little down today.

Guess it's just an age thing, or maybe it's because I always feel a little down when the holidays are over. I don't like the holidays, but I've already said that before!

Anyway, I finally got all the decorations down at Mom's house and helped her get her house back in shape for her sewing group today! After the last two weeks, I need a vacation, but this is as close as I'm gonna get!

Coffee on the patio this morning if that's alright! I need the fresh air!

Ah, I DO remember all of them! When I was a little girl, my Mom took me to see Howdy Doody and Buffalo Bob Smith at a local theatre. He called ticket numbers and I had to up on the stage to meet him. Boy, was I ever scared but I won a Howdy marionette! Sure wish I had that now - must be worth a fortune!
That was a good video. They really were good times back then.
Cheer up - we're havin' a heat wave - it's 23 outside!

Sorry you're down today, but I cewrtainly understand. Plus, you and I have some tough decisions and talks ahead of us, don't we?

How about a visit on Saturday - going through pics? Maybe some coffe and cookies on the patio? I certainly don't need any more cookies after the past few weeks, but hey, my celebrating isn't over until next week!

See you then to give you

Big Hugs -

Holiday Blues are very common, the causes vary from upcoming property / income taxes (always MY favorite time of year) and the Discover / Visa card payment comes in mail (Yikes!).

Hope you feel better soon.

Good music! I remember much of these and feeling my age + a few years, yet listening to this catchy tune made me want to stand up and "cut a rug". Music can bring a body out of the blues sometimes.

May I have this dance ...after the coffee, of course?

Boy, do I ever remember those things. Thanks for the pick me up. Too cold on the patio up here but coffee sounds good.

I tried to leave a comment but don't know what happened. So just in case it didn't go. Hope your day gets better and a visit from your baby sis should make you smile a bit more.

Hey Phyllis...
Those original Howdy Doody marionettes are indeed worth some money, especially in the box!

Must gave been a thrill to get to meet him!

I'm sure it won't last long(the being down), and soon I'll be back to my old grumpy self!

Hey, thanks for coming by!

Hey Sis...
It's always a good thing when we can get together! We sure do need to go through those old pictures and see if we can sort them out in some fashion!

If nothing else, we can have them put on DVD or in an album!

Cookies are always good! Let's hope the weather holds!

Thanks, sis, for the visit!

Hey Anon 7:25...
Don't worry...it is just a temporary thing!

Credit card bills and taxes! What a gruesome thought! Want a cookie?

Thanks so much for coming over today!

Hey Ben...
I think that now that things are back to normal...or what passes for normal, everything will be fine!

No need to worry just yet! I'm thinking maybe what I need is a fishing trip! Haven't been in years!

Thanks, buddy, for the visit this morning!

Hey Sissy...
Music can be like cookies for the soul!

I'd be more than happy to have a dance or two with ya! Been a while, but I think I can remember how!

Thanks so much for coming by today!

Hey JoJo...
The comment came through just fine, Sweetie!

I always enjoy a visit from my Sis, even though she lives close.

By close, I mean that it's only about 40 or 50 miles to her house from here...and that's considered local!

Hope you get a chance to get on the road soon! Just to stretch your legs, ya know? Fred will probably enjoy it!

Thanks, sweetie, for coming by today!

Hey Trouble...
I'm glad she got good reviews on the firecrackers!

Sure are simple, but folks sure seem to like 'em!

Thanks for coming over today!

Hey Anne...
I appreciate that, my friend!

Certainly have to head on over to your house! Nothing like a party in the country!

Thanks, lady, for coming by today!

Well, I KNOW about them all, but I don't quite REMEMBER a few of them.

Jim, I remember every thing in that song except "knickers to your knees". The only thing that was a little before my time.

Hey Gorges...
C'mon now! Fess up! I know you must remember MOST of 'em!

Hey, thanks, my friend, for coming by today!
