Don't Be So Serious...!

Do you know why I put cartoons on my blog from time to time? Sure, it's entertaining to some (I enjoy them myself), but the real reason is that I just want to remind us all to NOT take ourselves too seriously.

Sometimes we get so carried away with talking business, trying to make a little extra money, building up our affiliates following, and all the other madness that seems to go with having a home based business...that we forget to find the time to have a little fun.

That's it! That's the reason! It's all for fun, nothing else. So why not just take a little break, sit back for about 5 minutes or so and have a little fun. Enjoy the cartoon and remember that there is coffee and donuts in the back for anyone that's interested...OK? OK!

Hey Bubba,
I just read yesterday's blog. I had never heard that story before but it was beautiful and so true.
The leson in today's cartoon is true also.
You mentioned Old Settlers the other day...remember the old water pump there that we practically fought over to see who got to pump the handle? They were indeed good times.
Love ya.

Hi Jim!

A funny cartoon can be a reminder of not being too absorbed of the business, hehe:)

I use to have music I like on my blog.

Hey Sis...thanks for dropping by. I do remember the pump and all the other things that seemed almost magical to us at the time. One of the joys of childhood, I guess.

Being a pet person, I knew you would appreciate the pet friend story. How is your new roomie doing? About time to share some pictures, huh?

Hey Mattias...I have been trying to figure out how to embed some music into my blog, but haven't got it figured out yet.

I think you're right about a carttoon being a much needed distraction sometimes...plus they are fun, I think.

Thanks for coming this morning...

HeY Austin...thanks so much for dropping by and taking the time out of your busy schedule to join us for a cup of (vitual) coffee!

Sometimes all it takes to get a fresh look at everything is to find something that makes us smile, be it a cartoon or joke or funny saying.

Here in the South, Sunday has always kinda been a day of kicking back a bit...so I try and find something not too serious to post about. Hope I succeeded...

Thanks again...
