So This Is The Day...!

Are you scared yet? You just at least be worried! I know I am!

All the begging, all the lies, all the B.S. that gets spread around this time of the year is finally coming to an end. Let's hope it's for the best!

I voted early this year and, judging from the lines so far, I'm glad I did! I'm happy to see so many folks braving the weather and hardships of the season just to get out and vote. To me, it seems like more people are out than ever before! That's a good thing!

I think my cat has the right idea about politics. After hearing several speeches by the candidates on the tube, he went outside and found a place to bury some of the stuff he heard. Either that, or he wanted a place to get sick to his stomach!

Small little front moving through last night brought a scattering of rain and slightly cooler weather. It's not as cool as our friends up north are having, but it is a welcome break from the Summer type weather we've been having.

Let's have our coffee in the kitchen again today. OK? Peace on ya, my friends!

When politicians say nasty things about each other, I believe them -both sides.

They woudn't lie to us, would they?

I think the opinion given at Shade and Sweetwater says it all.

Bubba -

I am just glad all the hype and retoric is over - not to mention the lies! Whoever wins, we all have to pull together as one nation and get on with it.

Great pic of Buddy - he obviously knows the neighborhood...no friends ever use Mom's front door.

Big hugs -

Great picture of Buddy - he has the right idea. I am so sick of all the hype and lies. "Baby Sis" said it all. Whoever wins we all need to pull together and stop all the bickering and fighting and get some work done. We are supposed to have rain and snow flurries here today, but that won't stop me from casting my vote today. Whoever wins will have his hands full in trying to "fix" all the problems facing this Nation.

Well I'm glad its over but we sure can't rest now can we.
Please give me a refill it was a cold walk this morning. Then someone stopped and we talked about usual things and all of a sudden it was politics and things I didn't want to hear anymore of and she just kept talking I finally said I have to run and just walked away, she was still talking. :(P what a way to start the morning.

Your cat must feel like I do. I am sipping some Columbia coffee and relaxing before we go vote. If you don't vote, you have no right to complain about the outcome.

Hey Sixbears...
Surely everything they say must be the truth! At least, that's what they said!

Thanks, my friend, for coming over today!

Hey Momlady...
I'll have to pop over and see what she said!

Thanks for the visit today!

Hey Sis...
I'm thinking that the secret to our survival as a nation, is to team up as you say!

It's time to try and tackle the job at hand!

Thanks for coming by, Sis!

Hey Linda...
It would be easy to stay at home, but we should all take part in this election! Like you said, fixing what's broke should be our first priority!

Stay warm! Thanks for coming over today!

Hey Jo...
Wouldn't hurt my feelings if I didn't talk politics for another century!

Time to get on to other things! Stay warm there, and thanks for coming by today!

Hey Dizzy...
Be sure to wear your long johns! Might want to take some extra coffee as well!

Thanks, buddy, for dropping by this morning!

I'm scared, yes. I must go take out my adrenalin rush on the rose bushes that need clipped and moved.

I don’t know when I’ve been happier to see an election over and done with. Campaigns for 2016 begin in January!

We voted early as we would be out of state on Election Day. Thankfully we don't watch TV so did not have to watch those annoying ads, but we did get lots of political phone messages. Everyone should get out and vote, then there would be nothing to complain about...wait, folks will STILL find a way to complain.

We voted way last week it might have been in october as it all mail in this state..Same sex marriage passed so did the marijuana issue.....there will many businesses in this tiny town just across the border from Oregon who will have many people rushing to get married, hurrah for that, I don't know about that marijuana issue, never smoked it in the late 60's not about to start now..Hunger big issue and jobs, so if they can use the money from the marriage equality issue going thru and the marijuana issue, we could actually feed people and get some real living wage jobs here in Washington state, I volunteer at food places, it is humbling to serve people who work many crap jobs and end up getting some food for themselves only, cause they feed their spouses/partners and children and forget to get any for themselves..I heard a news fellow say the campaigns spent 6 Billion dollars on the quest for the presidency, it surely made me ill to hear that, oh, how we could use some money at the church I volunteer and the food bank to feed those who truly truly need it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am like that Abigael darling young child who cried over Brono Obama and Mitt Romney on utube, I am so happy it is over the election.to me a big big waste of money, but at least we don't live in a country where rulers rule and their are only rigged elections if any election at all, god bless the usa, happy holidays to you!! !!!!
