Accepting Accountability...

I was reading an interesting article pertaining to the Law of Attraction that started me thinking. I am sure that all of us have asked ourselves some of the same questions about why certain things happen. By the same token, I'll be willing to bet that we all have different thoughts as to why things are as they are...I want you to read this article and maybe you will understand what I'm talking about! It's well written and explains it better than I could, ok?

" Even the very word accountability can make the hair stand up on the back of your neck!

Often the word accountability is used in a scolding manner such as “You’re not very accountable!” As a certified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner, I’ve learned about the impact of words and I particularly like reframing a words meaning. By reframing I mean to look at a word and its meaning from a different point of view. Consider the following reframe of the word accountability.

The word accountability has two words buried within it – the word account and the word ability. Here is a different definition for the word accountability -

“Accountability: my ability to account for why I’m attracting what I’m attracting”.

Have you noticed when people attract something wonderful into their life they like to brag and celebrate it, and will often say “I attracted this!”; “This is here because of me!”; “I put it out to the Universe, that’s why it’s here”; “I’m an awesome attractor”; “My parking angel brought me this parking spot”. In all of these cases we do have the ability to account for why we attracted it.

Now let’s consider the folks who attract negative or unwanted things to their lives. Here’s what they say. “Why is the Universe doing this to me?”; “This is not my fault!”; “I don’t deserve this”; “Why me?”

When it comes to attracting negative experiences some people tend to no longer have the ability to account for why they attracted it, yet the reason is the same. They attracted it because they vibrated it!

Often people will ask me “How do I know that I’m getting this Law of Attraction stuff?” My response is “You know when you take full accountability for everything you attract, both the negative and positive!” You don’t have to like it – you just have to own it. So, starting today, when you notice you’ve attracted something you don’t like, you can be more curious about it and say “I must have been offering a negative vibration that caused me to attract this negative experience”, thus having a different emotional response to what you’ve just attracted. Play with this concept today and acknowledge that everything you’ve been attracting is a direct result of the vibration that you’ve been sending. "

Now do you see what I was talking about? Makes you stop and think, huh? I have an idea...why don't we have some fresh coffee and discuss this concept? C'mon, join me in a cup...!

Sunday Update...

I was just sitting here thinking of how things can change in just a short amount of time! What started out as a slow day with nothing much going on...turned into a really nice and eventful day. This was due mainly to a few good friends and I'm very lucky to have the friends I do have.

Now a couple of these friends are very special. They know who they are...or they should! Just for them I wanted to close this day by leaving this video... and I hope the rest of you enjoy it as well.

Have a good evening...I'll see you tomorrow!

Hey...We Are On Google...!

I was reading Blondie's blog this morning, and she was talking about Google. I decided just for fun (it's been a slow morning) to Google "hermitjim" and ...what do you know??? There we were!!! That's a little weird, huh? I mean, you just don't see your name in places like Google very often and to find it on the front page is really great! MORE THAN ONCE!!! And this blog, Blondie's Blog, and John's Blog are even on page 2 as well!

Man, I feel ....well, I don't know what I feel cause it was such a shock to find us there at all! Too bad we can't make some money off that, huh? Of course, just cause we're on Google doesn't mean that people are actually reading our blog, but that would be nice!

I better go and see what else I've been up to...I may be having more fun than I thought! Grab some coffee...I'll be back!

How About Downsizing...?

I want you to do something for me...ok? Look around the room that you're sitting in right now and see how big it is. Now picture the same room if it was 14ft. by 14 ft. Got it? Doesn't sound like a lot of room, does it? I think if you will take the time to measure out 14 ft., you will be surprised at just how much room it actually is! Now look at the way that things are arranged in that room. Could they be rearranged, or even moved out? Could you get by with something smaller that would serve the same purpose? See where I'm going with this?

The reason I bring this up today is because I have been looking at plans for a cabin...and I ran across 2 sets of plans that are really unique! Very small by today's standards, but spacious enough to have everything you need at the same time.

The first set of plans is for a standard cabin with a floor measurement of 14 by 14 with a loft for a bedroom and office. The plans are very complete and seem to contain a pretty good arrangement for everything, including an enclosed bathroom. It also has a porch in front (and could also have one in back) and uses solar panels and utilizes a rain water catchment system.

The second set is equally as compact, although a lot different in design. Instead of having a square floor plan, the design is set up with the floor plan in the shape of a polygon, or 5 sided figure with each side being equal. In this case the sides are 9 ft. long giving the total floor space of 140 sq.ft. The center height is 13 ft. Plenty of headroom, do you think?

I'm going to study these two sets of plans and see if either is what I need for building shelter in the country. I'll update you with further plans as I develop them. I expect this to be an ongoing thing so there will be plenty of updates, I'm sure.

Later...coffee time for me!

Friday, March 28, 2008

Hey...It's Friday !!

Whatever that means...! I couldn't help that a lot of people are trying to do taxes and stuff like that. Necessary things, I guess (I don't have to pay taxes...) but they can really get you down. I do remember that much! In keeping with my ongoing endeavor to watch out for my friends as much as I can, I offer this inspirational song by Roger Miller! Hope it helps to brighten your day and lighten your load ! (p.s....it helps to turn up the volume and put a shot of good stuff in your coffee!)

Ya hear me, Blondie??

A Little More About Me...

Maybe I should tell you a little more about me...so that you might understand the unpredictable rantings and ravings of this blog! I'm sure that at times I may come across as a completely unorganized and unhappy individual, but that is not the case.

First of all, I'm a Scorpio! That alone should explain a LOT! I won't tell my exact age here, but suffice it to say that I have two grown children, 3 grand kids, and reached the age a year ago where I was old enough to retire, albeit early! (I was tired of working since I had my first job at the age of 12). So now I stay at home, do what I want, and earn a little extra from time to time from the Internet.

When I became single again about 10 years ago, I started down sizing both my living space and my possesions. One of the best things about being single is the fact that if I want, I can pack my stuff, gas up my truck, and move on. I now have an attitude that if I can't pack it up in one load, I don't need it! I can also get by in a lot smaller space than someone that has a family. My outlook on collecting things I don't need has also changed. I don't just buy things because someone else has it or because it's cool.

The things that are important to me have definitely changed over the past few years as well. The most valuable thing I have now is my time! I don't always use it as wisely as I should, but everything I do is to be able to make the most of the time I have. I don't rely on anyone but myself, although I do listen to my friends that are more knowledgeable than I am about certain things. Some times I follow their suggestions, sometimes I don't, but I always listen.

I'm not standoff-sh, but having been married before (more than once, I might add) I am a little more reluctant to get close to people I don't know. In fact, I don't allow myself to get real close to anyone! Easier to become disappointed and disillusioned when you are real close, ya know?

I like the quiet and peaceful settings of the country. I don't like crowds or crowded situations. I have few needs and fewer wants. I enjoy music, reading, animals, cooking, writing, and day dreaming. I also watch t.v. some...but I am sort of picky about what I watch. Older movies are my favorite with any commercial-free movie being my second choice.

That's about it...hope that tells you enough about me to understand why sometimes I rant and maybe even ramble some...kinda like today! Whadda ya say...let's get some fresh coffee!

Early Early In The Morning...

I should be in bed, but I just got to hankerin' for some old foot tapping music, ya know? The kind that takes you back and reminds you of all kinds of things and all kinds of people! Songs that can be happy and sad at the same time....reminding me of when I was younger and that I'm getting older all at the same time. So here I sit, at 3:00 a.m. searching for the right kind of song done by the right kind of singer(s) and all of the sudden...there it was!

I know that some of you will remember the song and some may even remember the things the song is about! To me, the song is a celebration of life and a reminder that memories can keep us young at heart and make us all a little richer in character, in spite of it all! Enjoy...!

I'm going to bed! Back later with an update...ok? ok!

More Poor Man's Treats...

In today's lesson, I'm gonna tell you how to make a "poor man's fried pie"! And once again, we are gonna use cheap canned biscuits. In case you are wondering why we use the cheap brand, it's because they were on sale for 4 cans for a dollar! My kind of price! Anyway...on to the cooking!

Open the biscuits, pull them out of the can and flatten them out pretty good. Then take the filling of your choice ( I like apple butter!) and slap some in the middle making sure to not get too close to the edge. Fold the dough over and seal the edges by mashing down with the tines of a fork that's been dipped in water (this keeps it from sticking).

Next place some oil in the frying pan ( I use peanut oil) and once it's hot, gently slip the pies into the oil. They brown pretty quickly and if you turn them once they should be ready to come out. Place the pies on a paper towel, sprinkle the top with just a little sugar and cinnamon...and that's it! Be careful when you bite into them cause that hot filling will definitely burn your mouth!

If you eat enough of these, you can be assured to gain a little weight or at least prevent any weight loss! JS wrote a humorous article about that on his blog...you really ought to go check it out!

Well, all this talk about sweets is making me hungry, so I think I'll go and make some fried pies and fresh coffee! Want to join me...??

Spring Has Sprung...!

Yep, it reads 68 on the patio...the sun is shining enough to make it seem like the low 70's, and I have a really bad case of Spring fever! Beautiful weather for us!

Let's talk for a minute about one of my favorite subjects...FOOD! Now day before yesterday I took a precooked ham, put it in the crock pot on the lowest setting, and left it overnight. Yesterday morning I made a brown sugar glaze and brushed it all over....MAN! With mashed 'taters, ham gravy and creamed peas it was a great meal! Last but not least, Mom made a chocolate pie! That will make you hurt yourself...eating a meal like that, ya know?

Then this morning, I made some poor man's kolachies...know what those are? You take the cheap brand of canned biscuits, flatten them out, place a "little Smokey" cocktail sausage in the middle and roll it up. Bake in the oven until the biscuits are done, take them out and brush the top with butter. That's it! Only problem is finding a place to stop eating them! (No wonder I am sporting a beer belly!)

As much as I enjoy eating...I enjoy making money even more! My two favorite programs have helped me along those those lines today! Received another referral bonus from 10DollarsWonder this morning and received payment from AdProsperity last night, and promptly upgraded again just before I surfed there! This program has always paid me very quickly to SolidTrustPay!

Certainly is a lot more pleasant than receiving 11 emails from a program in 2 days that has not paid me a dime! Maybe it's just me, but 11 emails in 2 days seems a bit much! I haven't counted the ones from today yet...afraid to!

Anyway, having said all that I am going to go have some fresh coffee and a ham sandwich! I might even force myself to have a piece of pie (just to not hurt my Mom's feeling's, ya know?)!

Happy Easter To All...

Nothing to rant about today...it's an absoutely beautiful day here! In keeping with the glorious weather that the Maker has given us today, I give you this little song by none other than Louis Armstrong! He says it best in this classic song...

Have a wonderful day everyone...! See you tomorrow!

A Little Rant To Start The Day...!

I have gone long enough without saying something about some of the most irritating aspects of working on the net. I have mentioned some of these before, and I'm sure that I will again because the people responsible don't see anything wrong in what they're doing!

First is the matter of the admins that let PTP sites be allowed to advertise on their program if they have more than one pop-up! This morning I was surfing for credits and was assaulted by one PTP site that had no less than 9, that's right...9 pop-ups try to come up! Can you believe it? 9 pop-ups! Needless to say, it stopped the surfing timer while they tried to load! Ridiculous!

Next is the very practise of using pop-ups, fly-ins, little people walking onto the screen while you are trying to read the information, music that automatically starts to play when the site comes up, exit pop-unders, and the lying multi-pop ups that try and act like a live message window from a real person. When I run across ANY site that uses one or more of these stupid little piece of useless coding, I immediately move on to another site! I refuse to be bullied, pushed, blackmailed, coerced, conned, dis-respected, talked down to, treated badly, or taken advantage of by some silly marketing "expert" who is trying to sell me something that I don't need (and probably wouldn't work anyway!) so don't bother! And by the way, Learn To Spell! I can't believe the sheer number of headlines along that are so filled with mis-spelled words by so called "professionals"! Why don't they proofread their work, or at the very least, use a spell checker program? Man!

Finally this morning is the programs that you join that offer plenty of spill over if you join with a one time fee and do a little advertising. You join, advertise a lot, but the spill over never comes! What does come though is a constant stream of emails reminding you of another branch of their programs that you can join (for an additional one time fee!) that promises a lot of spill over and all you have to do is advertise a little. So even though you haven't made a dime, you join. Then a third or fourth program opportunity followed by the same multiple daily emails reminding you to join with the same stale promises!

I don't think so!!!

I for one have had my fill!! I will continue to advertise the programs that I have joined...and the ones that are working for me will get the bulk of my efforts!

Whew...! I feel better now that's off my chest! Now that I've let off some steam, let's go and have some coffee...OK?

Coffee Thoughts For Today...!

While waiting for the coffee pot to brew a fresh batch, I ran across an interesting article on the benefits of caffeine that I wanted to pass on to you...it's from Parade magazine out of the Houston paper and the following is an excerpt from said article.

"A study from SUNY Downstate Medical Center found that seniors with normal blood pressure who drink four or more cups of coffee a day are less likely to die from heart disease. Caffeine is presumed to be protective by preventing the drop in blood pressure that often occurs in older folks after they eat. You can get the same benefit from any source of caffeine, including tea, cola or chocolate. But caffeine won't help if you have high blood pressure. "

How about that? Three of my favorite foods are actually GOOD for me! Just confirms what I've always known, but couldn't prove (until now!). I just Love it when something good comes along to share my morning coffee, don't you?

I'll be back later and we can plan an Easter Egg Hunt!

Want some fresh coffee...? It's good for ya...! Really!

First Day Of Spring...!

A new start after a slow Winter! Fresh flowers in the beds, bedding plants to put out in the garden, and a host of other good things to look forward to! Just gotta love it...I do.

Upgraded in 10DollarsWonder this morning...just to show how much I back this program. I have seen where some people are bad-mouthing the admin and the program, but as far as I'm concerned it's rock solid! If the truth be known, I would imagine that some of the people that are being so negative about this program are well in profit, but as often happens greed sets in and instead of looking at the long run, the focus becomes "Give me more!" Let me pass on a little secret to you...if you want a program to last, then support it! If you don't want to support it, why don't you just get out? That is just my opinion!

Along those same lines is AdProsperity! Here is a program that allows you to get in for as little as $1.00, gives you back 10% a day for 13 days, and allows 2 withdrawals per week! Below is an e-mail from the admin with an update...

"From the beginning I had planned to increase the limit of the maximum purchase amount every cycle (every 13 days). During the first stages of the growth, the $500 max purchase was designed to prevent the program from big spenders, to make sure it creates a stable growth momentum. I can say that this objective was achieved and we can proceed to rising the maximum purchase limit to $1000.Together with that I am also increasing the maximum active upgrades form 4 to 6."

This program is now 13 days old, has gone through a complete cycle , and the membership continues to grow nicely. I am completely satisfied with the complete operation of the program, and would have upgraded in it this morning as well...but I had already surfed for today so have to wait until tomorrow.

Now let me just say this. I have done my duty by telling you about these programs. Whether or not you join, that's your decision. Will I continue to support them? YES! Would I recommend them?...YES, and I have! Do I put my money where my mouth is?...YES!

I'm not a big spender, but I would not hesitate to stay with both the programs and continue to use them as vehicles to help make me better off financially than I was before I joined. Both have done that so far and I see no reason to think they will not continue to do that in the future!

Darn, I've let my coffee get cold! Oh well...time for some fresh anyway! Want to join me...?

Windy Wednesday...I mean Tuesday !

Wind is blowing a big weather front our way...conditions are just right for tornadoes. Always a bad thing due to the vast amount of damage they do. Let's hope that none develop in a populated area.

Just wanted to make a quick comment about AdProsperity. I requested a withdrawal this morning and was paid...in less than an hour! Folks, that's pretty fast by any one's standard. I am more and more impressed by this admin and the way he takes care of business. 10% a day for 13 days, 2 withdrawals a week allowed, 4 upgrades at a time allowed, and best of all, only $1 needed to upgrade...sounds like a plan to me!

I highly suggest you check this one out, if you haven't already! Well, coffee time for me, but I'll be back later if anything comes up (and if I'm not taken off-line by the weather!)

Happy St. Patrick's Day...!!

I hope that everyone is enjoying the holiday, Irish or not. My feeling is that many of us need very little excuse to party....and that's ok. A good party never hurt anyone as long as good judgement is maintained.

I want to give a quick plug to a couple of programs that are consistant in their operation and in their payment. The names of these outstanding programs (or games, if you wish) are AdProsperity and 10DollarsWonder. These guys are most solid in my small portfolio. I can honestly say that I am very pleased with these programs and wish that we had more like this, but we don't.

That's all the business I am going to do today, but in keeping with the holiday I want to leave you with a couple of Irish flavored items...

Irish Coffee
1/4 cup hot, strong, black coffee
1-2 tsp sugar
1 large measure Irish whiskey
1-2 tbsp double cream

Fill a stemmed whiskey glass with hot water then throw out, refilling it with boiling water. Throw this out, fill the glass somewhat more than half full with coffee and add sugar to taste. Stir to dissolve, then add the whiskey. Pour the cream over the back of a spoon to float on top.
Drink the hot liquid through the cool cream. If double cream is not available use lightly-whipped single (whipping) cream.
Now, if you'll excuse me...I am going to have some fresh coffee (Irish, of course!) and a fresh peanut butter cookie! Enjoy the video...

Sunday, Sunday...

Almost the first day of Spring already...seems like the older I get the faster time flies. Or maybe it's because I'm just having too much fun! Either way, I'm glad to see Spring coming on. I'm pretty much a hot weather person.

Don't have a lot to say tonight, but I did want to give a big thank you to a little program that I have been using in the background every day for about a year or so. The name of the program is ClixSense. It's so automatic and so little time is involved in doing it, I almost forget to tell others about it. I get a check from them each and every month. Not much, but it's regular as clock work every month. I never turn down free money, no matter how small the amount. The way I see it, that's money I didn't have before.

I'll follow up later on with some progress reports on other programs, but tonight I'm gonna kick back , have a fresh cup of coffee, maybe watch a movie. I found this little blast from the past and thought I would close with it. Enjoy...OK?

Feeling A Little Moody Today...

Funny how that happens, isn't it? I mean, I have no reason to feel this way that I know of. Maybe it's just the weather...or the fact that I haven't been sleeping all that well. And maybe, just maybe...it's because I spent a time today looking through some old pictures with my Mom.

Some of the pictures brought back fond memories, some brought back the sadder times. Many had faces of friends and family that are no longer with us. Kinda makes you sad and happy at the same time, ya know? All I know is that since the flood of memories this afternoon, my mind has been filled with an ongoing movie of the past. Seems like everything I look at is a reminder of something or someone from long ago, and not so long ago. I have decided to let this feeling run itself out tonight and then, before I go to sleep, I will start my thoughts back in the direction of where I really want to be.

Sort of keeping with the way I feel tonight, I found this song by Frank Sinatra that seems to fit just right! Enjoy the song...ok?

Friday, March 14, 2008

Well...It's Friday!

Of course, being retired means that Fridays don't have the same magical meaning that they used to! Still, there is something about Fridays...ya know?

Let's look at how AdProsperity is doing. All in all, I'd say that they (or we as members) are doing pretty well. Growth is steady, payouts are fast, admin is very active in communicating news and handling questions...all good signs as far as I'm concerned! A solid program so far with what appears to be a bright future!

Want to go over the basics again...? OK. Here they are for ya (I took this breakdown right off Blondie's blog!) Thanks, Blondie !

* Auto-Surf Site

* 10% daily for 13 days = 130% ROI

* 2 cashouts per week

* Minimum spend is $1

* Surf up to 50 pages for credits

* Accepts STP and Liberty Reserve

By the way, if you have never read Blondie's blog or John's blog (9PlanetReviews) you really should. You can always get the straight facts from both of these guys. Believe me, I know!

I'll be back later...after some more coffee!

Sweet Time Of The Year...

No, I'm not talking about taxes...but Easter! Besides the religious celebrations going on around Easter, it is the biggest time of the year for one of my favorite of all foods...Chocolate! Now to me, chocolate is a food group of it's own, just like coffee!

No matter where you go, what kind of store you shop, what drug store you visit you see lots and lots of Chocolate! Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, sweet and semi-sweet chocolate! And the shapes!!! Chocolate eggs, drops, squares, bars, nuggets, kisses, truffles, sprinkles, powders and more. You have chocolate covered everything...from fruit to cake and pastry to nuts! Chocolate comes bagged, boxed, in tins, wrapped in parchment, or in foil of every color you can imagine!

Chocolate also can be used to make some of the most versatile sauces in the world! Fondue, dipping sauce, ice cream topping, and sauce for turning regular milk into chocolate milk....these are but a few of the wonderful uses of this marvelous sauce! But have you ever had Chocolate Gravy? That's right, chocolate gravy! It's great on biscuits and toast...and anything else you can think of! Talk about comfort food...this is the CHAMP!

While there are many, many versions of this recipe I have put one common version below. I hope you try it and enjoy it!

Ingredients
# 1 cup granulated sugar or Splenda sugar substitute
# 1 tablespoon butter
# 1 1/2 cups milk
# 2 tablespoons flour
# 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions
1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a heavy saucepan with a whisk.
Using a whisk blends everything better than a spoon. Stir in the milk.
2. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly. Remove the pot
when the mixture is thick like pudding.
3. Add the butter. Stir in until completely melted. Serve over biscuits
with a teaspoon of butter dolloped on top.

Coffee...Not Just For Sippin'

I've decided to give you all a little something different today. I found an article from Texas Cooking Online .

The name of the article is "Good ol coffee...Texas Coffee Buzzes Strong" by John Raven, Ph.B. What I wanted to share with you are two Texas Barbecue sauces that have coffee as the main flavoring agent. I think you'll like them...if you like barbecue! (and who doesn't??)

Black Jack Barbecue Sauce

* 1 cup strong, black coffee * 1 cup Worcestershire sauce * 1 cup catsup * 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar * 1/2 cup brown sugar * 3 tablespoons chili powder * 2 teaspoons salt * 2 cups chopped onion * 1/4 cup minced hot red chile peppers * 8 cloves garlic, minced

Gloomy...Gloomy...Gloomy

Boy, today has been a dismal day weather-wise. Rain all day, along with pretty high wind. It started out in the morning with sunshine and the temperature close to 70. By noon the temperature had dropped to 50, tonight it's cold and wet. Yep...it's Monday!

All-Teamed-Up and TotalTeamProfits both seem to be doing pretty well by all reports. Also on the good side, AdProsperity is rocking right along. I really hope this program last a while...and I plan to support it while it's doing well. In fact, I upgraded again today.

I think that I'll keep it short and simple tonight...and make some more coffee! I need a fireplace to ease up to! Oh well, when I build my cabin I'll be sure and put one in! Or at least, a wood burning stove...

Fresh coffee by the fire...aaahhhhh!

Spring Foward Sunday...And Today's Update

For those of you that are forgetful like me...don't forget to set your clocks forward one hour! Luckily, my computer is less forgetful than I and does things like that on it's own. That's probably a good thing...! I have an excellent memory...it's just not very long!

Anyway, remember that it's "Spring Forward, Fall Back" on the clocks, OK? I need COFFEE !!

Back later, I'm pretty sure!
******

Well...just got an email announcing the closure of SurfProfitPro! Needless to say, I had a pending payment due...kiss that one good-by! The short list I gave you yesterday just got shorter again. I am hoping that not many of you joined up at my recommendation, but if you did...I apologise! That is the nature of this business playing the paid-to-surf programs, we all know they are not going to last and just hope to get our initial investment out while supporting the program at the same time. Doesn't always work out that way!

Now I really need coffee...!! (with a chaser, thank you very much!)

Saturday Special...

Got the blahs today...think this past week finally caught up to me. Big Sis is back home in North Carolina now (had a good visit!)...Little Sis is settled in back at home on the other side of big "H"...and all the nieces, grand nieces and such are not showing up for daily visits. Nice when company comes, but sure gets quiet when the little ones are gone.

Amy the Cat is finally starting to realise that she can enter a room without having to look around and make sure sure that she won't be chased by some little person just trying to pick her up. She's enjoying her naps again and now feels like once more she is Queen of the Domain....

So now the Hermit can go back to being a Hermit...having done the non-hermit thing for a few days. Gotta catch up on my surfing and money making...and start touching base with my net buddies once more!

Now tomorrow is Sunday and the start of a busy week! So eat your Wheaties, drink your juice of choice, get the coffee pot and diet coke ready, and be prepared! I'm sure that by now you have at least looked at some of the programs I told you about, right? If not, then the question is "Why Not?" Look, if you are serious about getting started making money on the net, you have to at least take the first step...These programs work and I belong to them myself. I would never suggest you look at any program that I don't support 100% . I'm going to post a short list of sites for you to look at...not many, but a good place to start!
**10DollarsWonder**SurfProfitPro**AdProsperity**All-Teamed-Up**

See? That's not a long list, and certainly not all the programs I belong to...but the main thing is to get you started. So go look at any of these programs you are not familiar with and read their terms and F.A.Q's, become familiar with the payment process and requirements, and if you are comfortable with all that then join in the fun. Most will require a payment processor if you want to upgrade or want to get paid, so if you aren't a member of a payment processor take a look at one or two of these. This group is also short but most all of the programs listed above will take one or more of those listed.
**AlertPay**SolidTrustPay**E-gold**

Well, that's all I can think of for now...just a word of caution here! Never join ANY program just because someone, including me, tells you to or because the testimonials on the site say "It's Great!"...Always do your own study, read the forums, contact some of the members if you can, and finally, and probably most important...follow your instincts! Treat all these programs as a game, never use money you can't afford to lose (just in case!) and try and have fun!

Well, it's back to the coffee pot for me...and then give myself a little playtime! Why don't ya join me? And it goes without saying, if you have any questions about any of this...feel free to contact me. OK? OK...

Just A Quick Update...

I was just told about a new Surf program that would be a good place to advertise any opps you may have going. The program just started, so now is a good time to get in and get some referrals. You can check it out at AdProsperity....here are the quick facts.

*10% for 13 days
*ad packs are $1.00 each (maximum allowed at a time=$500)
*uses SolidTrustPay and Liberty Reserve
*minimum daily surf=15 sites (max=50 sites)
*advertise 3 sites at a time
* Cashout requests can be made two times during the week (from Monday till Sunday). The requests are being paid from 12 to 48 hours after request.

It seems to be a pretty basic program and might be an interesting place to spend a buck or two...

Back to the coffee pot for me! Cold here today with the wind blowing in gust up to 35 miles per hour...I'm hibernating for the duration!

Update About 10DollarsWonder...

I stole this explaination from Blondie's Blog while she wasn't looking...thanks, Blondie! She can make it sound so much better than I can, so why try and invent the wheel. It's really pretty easy...if you follow these steps.

"Before Friday Night, March 7th ...

1 - You MUST go to 10dollarswonder and create a NEW account. (doesn't matter if it's your 1st or 2nd account)

- IF a 2nd account, be sure to use a different email address AND a different username.

Do nothing more at 10dw. Do not make any purchases. You just need a FREE account. You can do it at: http://10dollarswonder.com

2 - You MUST log into e2ePay and in the Member Area, you will see where you need to enter your USERNAME for your NEW FREE account at 10dollarswonder. Be sure to SAVE the information.

No need to worry about who you sign up under. ALL of your current e2ePay membership information will be transferred to your NEW 10dollarswonder account, including sponsorship and referrals. "

That's all for now...back later with more, OK?

Pre-Hermit Days...

Thought you might like to see this pic of the Hermit before he became a Hermit! As you can tell, I needed a haircut even then! Never have been in danger of facing baldness...! Needless to say, the Lady in the picture is My Mother!

Sure was a lot cuter then ...wonder what happened..???
Ok, Blondie...you can stop laughing now...OK??
How about some coffee?

For What It's Worth...

Received the first program closure of the week last night. No apology, no attempt to call it something else, just an excuse and a parting nugget of wisdom..."Now is the time to cut our losses and move on". So much for "Ezy-Ezy-Ezy"...!!!

I think that most of the time, myself and others go into these programs knowing full well that they might not last long and as a rule, don't hold ill feelings about the admins when failure comes. However, in this case I definitely am taking it personally and will probably be mad at myself for a long time to come.

Every instinct I had was warning me about this program from the start...still I joined. My own fault! Folks, let me just say this up front so you will have it on record from me , OK? ALWAYS trust your own instincts! If your gut tells you to stay away from a program, then STAY AWAY!!!
I didn't and I paid the price!

Let me just say also that I have a feeling that this is just the first of several programs that will go down soon. I won't mention any names, but I think that this is going to be a bad week for those of us that count on good programs to make a little extra. Hope I'm wrong, but I would be surprised if we go the rest of the week without some more really bad news......

Time for a coffee refill...may be a two pot day!

Slightly Better Tuesday...

So far the news for the day is better...my sister and I went down to the store and I bought a new printer. Buying new toys always makes me happy! Not only that, but the printer I got was advertised on sale for $48...pretty good, right? Well, we get up front at the checkout and the clerk only charges me $40 instead of $48...day is looking better and better! Paper was on sale also...

Then I found my favorite peanut butter had been re-released by Peter Pan. Touch of Honey...P.B. with a small amount of honey added! I love the stuff! And the CHOCOLATE!!! Hersey's Milk Chocolate Nuggets...no nuts, no fillings, no frills...just plain milk chocolate! Couldn't find them anywhere! All of the sudden, there they were in row after row! Needless to say, I loaded up just in case I couldn't find them at another store!

So now I have a new printer, lots of paper and ink, and plenty of Chocolate to snack on while I'm working away! Just as we were starting to leave, I glanced into a bargain bin of DVDs and what do I see? Right there, close to the top...is a brand new copy of "Matrix: Revolution" for the best price ever! $5 for this soon-to-be classic! I could stand it no more! Had to go home on that one!

Now it's night...I am drinking some fresh Arabica coffee, getting ready to watch Matrix again, and looking forward to an even better day tomorrow! May we all have one...!

See ya later...OK?

Madness On A Monday...with an update!

The only good thing I can think of to say about this day so far...is that it will be over at midnight!!! All the plans for today got put into the toilet when some of the best programs out there like SurfProfitPro went under a DDOS attack. Next on the s***list was the fact that even SolidTrustPay, my favorite payment processor, was put under attack or at least became unreachable for some reason. Unable to do much business since that's the processor I use most of the time.

The e-gold account that I just opened a few days ago is now under someone Else's control...as I can no longer sign in. Two of the programs that I have been advertising like crazy haven't shown any signs of producing any results for me at all. I won't even mention their names.

My p.c. and my digital camera both have given up the ghost...or shown me the warning signs that the end is near! Add the printer to that list as well!

A couple of good things do keep this day from being a total bummer, though! e2ePay and 10DollarsWonder just keep on doing what they do, which is pay people and run smoothly! Too bad there aren't more programs like these two on the net today! If you haven't taken a look...you really should!

Now to keep my sanity, I have to go and get some coffee and some more tobacco as I am nearly out of both! You really don't want to know what the results would be if THAT ever happened at the same time...I'll come back later with some good news, I hope!

And some fresh coffee...OK?
***********
OK....things are looking better now! Got the coffee, got some more tobacco, rain has stopped, SolidTrustPay is back after doing some maintenance, and I just discovered that I have enough vodka left for a couple of mood enhancers! Blondie says that SurfProfitPro should be back up soon...and I knew that. Some days you just need to spout off a little, and it's good to do it on the blog instead of in person, don't you think?
And it's always nice when friends drop by to lend an ear and some moral support...especially if they have a good sense of humor! When you have a couple of minutes, why don't you drop by and read Blondie's blog ? Informative and fun to read...and she even drinks coffee!! How cool is that?

Survivor Sunday...

Well, remember when I told you yesterday that quiet time would come late? It didn't show up until about 1:00 a.m. The quiet talk between me and my sisters never took place as a group...although I did have a nice visit with each one one at a time! That's a good thing...right?

Noticed a lot of activity in my account at e2epay and 10DollarsWonder. Must be the effects of the recent rule enforcement about keeping the accounts active. You can read all the updates on the front page of either site. I did take the opportunity to re-purchase while I was visiting the sites. Might as well make that money work a little so I don't have to...right?

Today is the day that I repurchase into SurfProfitPro also. I like this program pretty well, and plan to stay with it as long as it runs. I am sorry to say that progress is a lot slower in a couple of other programs I'm in. However, I continue to support them and will go on advertising in hope that they will start to show some action. Time is the one commodity I have plenty of...so the trick is to learn how to use it wisely...agreed?

Fresh coffee time for me...then I may have to go eat again! Bet I've gained about 5 or 10 pounds so far this weekend. (and you know what? It didn't hurt a bit!)

Be back later, probably! Have a good day!

This Is A Good Thing...!

Being a bachelor has it's good points as does entertaining on the cheap! What started out to be a little get-together for me and my sisters at Mom's house has all of the sudden turned into a full blown party, complete with grand kids and grand nieces, "B"'s old friends that haven't seen her for awhile, some of Mom's friends(that means enough for cards!) and on and on...

I knew it would happen...it always does and always has. Ever since I was a little kid, my parents house has always been the unofficial gathering place for nearly anyone that needed friendship, or family, or just a place top go to get away from an unfriendly world for awhile. We never had grass in our front yard growing up cause of all the kids playing chase or ball or tag or whatever...our house always had a group of young ones playing, sitting in the yard talking, standing by the cars watching the young ladies walk by...that sort of thing. Every neighborhood has a house like this, or at least did in the simpler times when I was a kid.

Anyway, I'm making my special egg salad and maybe some spam salad for sandwiches...just cause those are two sandwich fillings that can fill a lot of people when you serve up a side of chips, maybe some stuffed jalapeno peppers, and homemade chili always standing by...

Quiet time won't come early tonight! But when it does, my Sisters and I can sit and talk for awhile. With some fresh coffee, of course!

More later...
